Bruce Kilgore designed the Air Force 1 for Nike in 1982 as the brand's first basketball shoe with a full-length Air unit — it still retails for roughly $90 to $140 depending on the colourway, more than four decades later. The Dunk followed in 1985 as a college-basketball shoe before skate culture adopted it in the late 1990s and turned it into the model driving most of today's Yupoo demand.
